STEAM JACKETED PLUG VALVES
Steam Jacketed Plug Valves

It has an integral chamber around the body. The chamber is provided with inlet and outlet screwed connections for passing steam. This feature helps to keep the line fluid heated and prevents solidification inside the valve.

The Plug and Body seating surfaces, which are lapped and matched, are not exposed to the line fluid; this confines corrosion and erosion to less critical areas. Sealing is further enhanced by a specially developed plug sealant charged evenly around the seating surfaces. Plugs from 11/2" are impregnated with a PTFE based anti-friction agent which provides greater wear resistance and ensures low consistent operating torque, also enhances resistance to seizure.
